DJ Moran was a lot of fun and had great pointers for different textured looks. His hands-on teaching really helped everyone pick up the techniques quickly. DJ also had a crazy-cool sense of humor that made class seem more like play!

The artists that came to visit us are stylists' DJ Moran and Francisco Villa.

DJ Moran is Grund Hair Care's International Artistic Director. He has many wonderful accomplishments under his belt such as being nominated Educator of the year, being a 5 time finalist hairdresser of the year by Salon Magazine, and winner of the Professional Women's Hair Cutting Championship with the Canadian Allied Beauty Association (just to name a few). He traveled here from Canada where he is a school owner and salon coach. His passion was enlightening and his techniques were contagious, as was his laughter and drive for education. We all had a blast working with him and learned some fun new cutting techniques to update any look!

Francisco Villa came from Texas to share his knowledge in color techniques and the principles of salon business. He is a certified Redken Educator, Salon owner, and travels the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, and South America doing consulting work. Francisco wins his students and colleagues over from the instant he greets them with a hug and then backs up his positive energy with knowledge of strong foundation and interchanging trends. Working with Francisco was a motivating and fufilling experience for all of us. The color formulas and techniques we learned have already found there way into many of our designs.

It is important not only for us as artist's to keep ourselves educated but for you as our guest. We want you to have the best experience and quality result that you deserve. After these past two months of creative information, we are anxious to continue to put it into practice.
